10 Reasons to add YOGA to your week

Training heavily with weights shortens our muscle fibres and causes them to become tight and congested. The practice of yoga lengthens the muscle fibres assisting with range of motion (ROM), keeping muscle fibres smooth, elastic and able to slide and glide with ease. Optimal ROM improves posture and technique furthering results and efforts put into toning and building muscle.

But the benefits of yoga go far beyond ROM and flexibility. Yoga has been shown to:
