Reason to start The Challenge

To become toned with definition and lose weight in those hard to lose places.

What did you like most about The Challenge?

I loved everything about the challenge. Sharing this journey with not only the Facebook community (watching, learning and being inspired by them) but also my husband. It has shown us all our bad habits and taught us good habits which we can now teach and lead by example for our children. It’s given us so much more energy.

What was the hardest thing about your Challenge?

The first 4 weeks were the hardest for me. The ups and downs I felt as my body adjusted to a healthy lifestyle. I hadn’t eaten breakfast for over 20 years and lived off coffee. Getting my head around eating more to help my loose weight was certainly hard.

What impact has The Challenge had on your life?

I have always been a sleeper. The alarm would go off in the morning and I would always press the sleep button to get those extra minutes. I now have more energy and motivation to get up and get on with the day when the alarm goes off. I now get so much more done in a day.

What would you say to people who are thinking of doing The Challenge?

Just do it. It’s not easy but certainly worth it. Believe in the process (don’t worry I had doubts when told that) but it really is true, it works and you will look and feel fabulous.

Anything else you would like to tell us about your Challenge?

I have known about the challenge for a long time and every year thought about doing it but always had an excuse. Now after completing the challenge I wish I had done it years ago.

    Started on Monday with food prep for my husband on Sunday will do a little bit for me during the week to make in easier. Really struggled eating breakfast on Monday and Tuesday, but Wednesday it was getting easier. Normally eat lunch at 11.30 with no breaky then good to go until kids get home from school. But after having breakfast at about 8.00 I was starving by Lunch time. Didn't have all the snacks. Still getting my head around all the food I can eat. Tuesday- Felt Yuk. Felt sick (like I was hungover). Wednesday getting better. Not sure if its the Protein but I seem to feel sick after drinking it. Didn't like it at all on first day but don't mind it now. Now for the weekend. No chips and drink for me. I can do this!!!!!
