Reason to start The Challenge

I joined this challenge because over the past year I've been juggling uni, work and family and have forgotten to look after myself! I have seen some amazing results from Maxine's challenge which has inspired me to take action and see just how much I can transform my physique!


What did you like most about The Challenge?

My favourite thing about the challenge was all the support in the forum and being able to read other peoples journals! It’s so nice to feel like you’re not alone. I absolutely loved the programs too.

What was the hardest thing about your Challenge?

LIFE! During this challenge, I have had a hen’s night, a wedding, a number of friends birthday parties, events, double shifts and illness! All these things kept popping up and it would be so easy to give in but thankfully all the motivation and support pushed me to keep on going. I’ve definitely had a few slip ups... But the important thing is I went straight back on to the plan afterwards and didn’t fall into old habits 💪🏼

What impact has The Challenge had on your life?

The challenge has not only made me feel stronger and fitter, but I have a lot more self confidence and energy! For the first time in my life I wore a crop top to the gym... this is something I never thought I’d do! In general I’ve become a much happier person which has had a positive impact on both my friends and family :)

What would you say to people who are thinking of doing The Challenge?

Go for it!! You have nothing to lose and everything to gain. There is so much support online and all your worries and questions are answered within hours.

Anything else you would like to tell us about your Challenge?

Maxine’s challenge is not easy! There were times when I wanted to cave in and eat rubbish (sometimes I did), times when I thought I wasn’t making any improvements or losing any weight. This is where the Maxine’s community is really supportive. All the handy tips and advice from maxine ambassadors and other challengers was incredible. You really do just have to trust the process, take loads of pics and if you slip up, don’t dwell on it but get right back on track! This challenge is definitely worth doing and you’ll be amazed with how much you learn! Also... when buying protein... Maxine’s chocolate honeycomb is a must!!🤗😋

    Last day today!! Just finished taking my photos and selecting my faves... my poor partner had to take about a thousand pics til I was happy! Looking forward to some well deserved pizza and some wine tonight 👌🏼❤️

    Still not seeing much movement on the scales... but photos are definitely keeping me motivated! Excuse the birds nest on my head!

    After a couple of days of giving in to chocolate 😬 🍫... smashed conditioning and abs today then finished up with a 10.1 on the beep test 👌🏼💪🏼 Definitely getting fitter, just need to stay focused now and keep nutrition on track!

    Had the healthy beef chow mien for dinner.... was so easy and quick to make and taste delicious!!! 👌🏼
