Reason to start The Challenge

I want to feel fit and healthy again! I once lost 40 kilos and then decided It was time to give up smoking and then slowly the weight gain started again and then on top of that I ended up pregnant with my 2nd child and the weight gain continued. I am ready to lose it again, life got in the way but both things were blessings, I no longer smoke and i have a beautiful baby girl and now is the time to take control again and get healthy for not only myself but my kids as well! I'm ready!

What did you like most about The Challenge?

The support that came from not only the coaches but the amazing ambassadors and challengers. It's such an amazing vibe and community!

What was the hardest thing about your Challenge?

Just life getting in the way, every single day being challenged not to eat certain foods when they are right in front of you but as the challenge goes on the easier it gets to say no

What impact has The Challenge had on your life?

It has given me a chance at being healthy again, I was well on track to being the unfit unhealthy person I use to be but maxines has brought guidance and structure back into my life

What would you say to people who are thinking of doing The Challenge?

Just do it! You will wish in 12 weeks when seeing everyone else's results that you had started yourself and 12 weeks really does fly by, a lot can change in that time.

Anything else you would like to tell us about your Challenge?

I have enjoyed every single bit of the challenge and I can guarantee it won't be the last one I do!

    Transformation Tuesday- Back edition!! I'm sooo happy with how far I have come in just 12 short weeks and it has inspired me to continue on to septembers challenge and really push myself! I'm so excited! It's going to be a long month waiting for the next challenge to start!! 😄😄

    Huge goal ticked off!! I wanted by the end of the challenge to at least be able to button my jeans up and TODAY WAS THE DAY!!!!!! yaaaaas! Tight squeeze but still, at the start of the challenge it was a tight squeeze even getting them over my legs let alone my big mummy tummy!! Yay 😍

    Have loved every single minute of maxines challenge and I'm so happy it has helped me get back on track to where I was pre pregnancy, still a long way to go but I feel like I've come so far in 12 weeks! Haven't weighed myself in 4 weeks so I'm excited for Sunday to roll around so I can weigh in and take my final photos! 👏👏

    Week 1- week 8 I see progress but definitely still shutter looking at the photos of myself standing in my undies... 14.5kgs down and feeling heaps better for sure. Hopefully the last 4 weeks will show enough improvement that I don't cringe when I see what I still look like!! Hopefully one day I'll be comfortable in my own skin regardless. But for now.... 😏😏😏

    Happy with my progress so far, since I last weighed myself 9 days ago I was down 11.6kgs and haven't weighed in since so not sure what it is now, but definitely feel a difference every day.

    Well 9 days since my last journal so thought I'd better check in and reflect!! Lately I have loosened the strings a little and had an extra coffee here and there and an extra protein bar or something but going into week 8 I will be reigning that back in again and plan on smashing out the last 4 weeks!! Aside from that I am still feeling unreal! I haven't weighed myself in 9 days which is a record for me and I plan on not weighing myself until the end of the challenge!

    So I had my first slip yesterday after 5 weeks on the challenge!! We went to the parent in laws place and i was organized! We were only going the one night and were to be home by lunch the next day, so I cooked tea and had my breakfast all sorted, then came the next day, morning was delayed which meant we weren't on the road until lunch time meaning I still wouldn't have been able to eat until about 3pm... so I should have just packed my lunch as well but I didn't so we stopped at a cafe instead and I made a bad choice. The thing is I don't feel bad because it was one bad choice and as soon as we got home I went straight to the gym. The old me would have thought stuff it I've ruined my diet so I'll add some chocolate and then maybe get takeaway for tea too and not bother to go to the gym! But i didn't let one bad meal derail me!! Bring on week 6!

    Had a real win today! After doing a 10km run in Melbourne marathon a couple of years ago to now after having my second baby and struggling to run at all, I managed to run on the treadmill for a straight 10 minutes today! It feels so good to start running again!! Can't wait to get my fitness back pre baby! And drop all those extra kgs!

    As another weekend nears, I'm getting less and less worried about slipping up. I've already faced and conquered 2 weekends and it feels like it's getting easier and easier. And I think its because I have come so far already its only myself and all my hard work that id be letting down. I haven't put in 3 weeks of 100% effort to let any type of irrelevant food derail me. I am in control, not food!! You will not beat me! And I know it'll all be there at the end of the challenge, so what's a measly 9 more weeks? Let's do this! 💪💪

    So last night I made Helen's mug cake for my night protein berries and yoghurt. And I'm hooked!! Had it again tonight and it is soooo good! Don't think I'll have my night protein any other way now. 😍😍 hello week 3, this is just flying by!!

    Happy to have gotten through the weekend without any slip ups! I have been 100% and I'm feeling amazing for it!! Week one, success ✔ let's hope the weeks to come are just as good! Bring on week 2!! 😀

    Currently sitting at my sons swimming lesson thinking about ways to tackle the weekend ahead. I am already one day down, because friday is usually takeaway night but I stuck to the plan. Weekends are the hardest for me, as I'm sure they are for everyone but my goal to get through the weekend is to be able to step on the scales Monday and be happy with the result knowing I've given the weekend my all as I have done through the week!!. No more takeaway for me! 💪

    Couldn't be happier with week one results! Down 3.2kgs already and feeling so good! Clothes are already feeling less snug, and my body feels clear of all the nasties I've put in it lately. So much fuel in my fire 🔥 bring on week 2!! 💪

    day 3 and im still feeling so positive and motivated. i am so ready for this! i know i can do it because ive done it before but after giving up smoking and having another baby my weight took hold of me again, but not for much longer!!
