Reason to start The Challenge

I recently had my second baby and looking to get back into feeing fit and healthy

What did you like most about The Challenge?

It taught me to think about what I’m eating, and how much I’m eating. I didn’t feel restrictive with food and looked forward to each meal.

What was the hardest thing about your Challenge?

Initially starting the challenge was a mental challenge to adjust to the calories to what I was use to. You don’t realise how much you want to eat just because rather than to nourish your body. The exercise in the first few weeks and being really sore the days after. As the challenge progressed the recovery did to.

What impact has The Challenge had on your life?

I have a lot more energy in general, feel confident about my body and able to keep up with my kids.

What would you say to people who are thinking of doing The Challenge?

Do it. It’s more than just a challenge it’s a life changing experience. The tools you will learn will take you far beyond the challenge.

Anything else you would like to tell us about your Challenge?

There are so many success stories that come from this challenge helping everyday people like myself in varying different stages of your life to achieve your personal fitness goals.

    Well that’s a wrap for my first Maxines challenge. The best part I’ve almost forgotten I’m on a challenge because I’ve made sustainable lifestyle changes. Maxines have taught me the fundamentals to eating delicious nourishing filling healthy foods whilst dropping weight. I’ve eaten burgers and pizzas through out this challenge (my favorite) but within the food plan and I’ve not felt like I’ve missed out. I’ve trusted the process and ticked the boxes through out the challenge and I can’t wait to continue on and have a crack at the get strong program for the next challenge.

    I didn’t get to the gym at all this last week, with lockdown and a teething baby with some personal fatigue I rested. But I got my steps everyday and my nutrition has continued to be on point. I’m really enjoying this challenge.

    The weeks are just getting away from us. Completed 6 weeks and feeling good. The nutrition has been on point. Not getting in all the gym sessions but that is life sometimes. I’m down on the scales but the physical appearance looks a lot less than the scales represent. I’m really stoked with how I’m tracking so far. Bring on the next 6 weeks.

    Week 4 was slow I forgot to write an update. I felt flat and tired and rested most of the week. I got in 1 gym session. My nutrition was on point and I walked most days. This week I’ve already done 2 gym sessions and got in a run which was great. I’m looking to finish the weekend out with 2 more sessions.

    No change with the weight on the scales this week. Slightly disappointed at first but it’s only the beginning of week 4. I feel like I’ve dropped in size so still super keen on the remainder of the challenge. Kept on point with my nutrition. I was able to get in the cardio session for week 3. But unable to get in the 4th gym session. But such is life!!! Looking forward to the week 4 photo check in to hopefully see some changes.

    Great second week. Still struggled to get in the 5th session (cardio) but still stoked with my nutrition and training so far. I’ve got a minor sprain in my left quad muscle. So will rest legs for a couple of days to recover. Found the weight movements felt better this week. My muscles are responding recovering better than week 1
