What did you like most about The Challenge?

There are so many things I love about the challenge.
I love the max and Maxine’s community! I feel like one of the family!
I have formed life long friendships through the challenge!
The workouts and nutrition are easy to follow.
Nutrition is super flexible and easy to adapt to daily life!
The links in the exercise plans that coach Steve has done were fantastic! Showed you easily how to complete the reps with correct techniques!
You can’t also adapt your program easily between home and gym.

What was the hardest thing about your Challenge?

For me the mental battle in my own head! Always questioning myself.. we always say don’t compare yourself to others, the Reality of that is a different story.
Social expectations of eating and drinking out.

What impact has The Challenge had on your life?

It’s shown me how mentally and physically strong I am! I set goals focused and stayed consistent.
Self confidence I have gained feels amazing!
Once apon a time I would have cried in the change rooms trying to find clothes to fit that look half decent. I was originally tipping the scales at 100kg before I found Maxine’s in now half the weight and 10 times the person I was.
I now love clothes shopping!

What would you say to people who are thinking of doing The Challenge?

KISS keep it simple stupid! Don’t try to over complicate things. Set goals, daily weekly and for the whole 12 weeks. Just do it.

Anything else you would like to tell us about your Challenge?

The mentoring program is a fantastic idea! I had susan guillaumier as my mentor and friend! She was and is my inspiration! Kept me accountable and motivated! I’m forever grateful 🙏
