Reason to start The Challenge

I am doing the challenge to get into a healthier routine! My husband and I have been a bit slack with our eating habits and we want to get back to the fit healthy couple we were 5 years ago when we competed in the 2014 challenge! We have two young daughters and I want to be able to keep up with them and have fun every day!

What did you like most about The Challenge?

I loved all the information and support we got through out the whole challenge especially the meal and exercise plans!!! But the thing I liked (loved) the most of this challenge is the end result both physically and mentally I am such a better, happier, stronger person now!!!

What was the hardest thing about your Challenge?

I’m not going to lie the hardest part of the challenge is fighting the temptation! My weakness is lollies and chocolate so when I had to make lolly bags for my daughters birthday party and have all the kids lollies that they didn’t like from trick or treating on Halloween and I did not eat any of them I knew I was going to get great results!! But Man it was definitely the hardest thing of the challenge! I LOVE (loved) lollies

What impact has The Challenge had on your life?

I’ve become a much happier person!! My posture has improved so much making me feel so much more confident in my body! I joked at the beginning it was only 12 weeks and then I would go back to eating what ever I wanted but now I have seen what my hard work has done to my body, my mental health and my skin I’m going to be definitely trying my hardest to stick to challenge approved foods!!

What would you say to people who are thinking of doing The Challenge?

Stop thinking about it and sign up!! I’ve had many people compliment me of my hard work and results and have them ask what’s the secret and I’ve told them there is no secret it’s the Maxine’s challenge it’s hard work but definitely worth it!!

I’d like to say thank you, thank you for all the support and information that is available on the website and then also the Facebook page and forum support was incredible too!!!

    To say I loved the last 12 weeks would be a big fat lie!!! It was bloody hard work. But what I can say truthfully is that I LOVE what the last 12 weeks has transformed me in to, both mentally and physically!! I joked at the beginning that it was just 12 weeks and that when the 12 weeks was over I’d go back to eating what ever I want but my mindset has definitely changed I will be trying very hard to stick to my healthy ways as much as possible!! I did a body composition at the beginning of the 12 weeks on the 05/09/19 and one on the 27/11/19 and the results (see photo) definitely showed my hard work!! I would of liked to of seen more muscle mass but that’s something I can work on! I’ve lost 4.8kgs over the last 12weeks and 51cm!! I’ve had a very supportive group of people keeping me on track over the last 12 weeks that I would like to thank including my Husband, Tim who completed the Max’s challenge along side me pushing me when I needed it and helping look after the girls so I could fit in a workout, our kids Em and Iz that would remind me “mummy you can’t eat that” my gym buddies Krista and Nat that would help push me to the end of our work outs, my parents that looked after the girls a little extra so I could get to the gym and the rest of our friends and families that gave me multiple compliments that helped me get to the finish line! And I’ve been told by multiple people I have motivated them to change their ways after seeing my transformation which I am proud to have done, you should really do a referral discount for past challengers, that new challengers mention are the reason they join future challenges 😜
